Identity sells

Take a look at this image I posted here. What do you think this is promoting? I can ask anyone on the street and if you showed them that billboard and I would guarantee you, they would have no idea what they are trying to sell. For the past few months, every time I drove past this billboard, it drove me absolutely crazy. I could not figure out what they were promoting. My first thought was it could be an advertising agency. After a couple months of going past that advertisement, I finally went onto the website and turns out it was for various types of insurance they offer. Now, you are probably wondering, why is this driving you crazy? First, if that is the identity for the company, it is not a very good one (no offense). You can not just name your website that has a decorative font & color as your identity. Second, that information should be left for the business card & website, not a billboard. Finally, I think the person who designed this missed a very important thought: IDENTITY SELLS. You want more customers/clients to be a part of your business. That is how it generates revenue. I wonder how many customers/clients use this insurance. Probably not that many. I worked on improving this logo and I am hoping it will generate more business. I can guarantee that improving that logo will generate more business.

  1. His commercials are TERRIBLE. Some of the worst acting on low budget local commercials I've ever seen.
